Inspiration: Two documentaries - Living on One Dollar and Craigslist Joe. I'm not one to preach that "money can't buy you happiness," but I do think that when you remove money from the equation, it's easier to get to the core of what really brings you joy and contentment. During my month of doing one good deed every day, I met a guy named Kody who doesn't work, lives in a school bus, grows all his own food, fasts often, and has two dogs. He seemed incredibly energized and happy, albeit maybe a little screw-loose, too. There's a part of me that envies that lifestyle. One Rule: the only money I can spend is money that I make during the week of no money.
