Inspiration: Mike Posner's song, of course. But in general, I've heard epic stories from Ibiza and it sounds like a truly unique place. Plus, it gave me an excuse to visit Barcelona on my way to Ibiza, which is also on my bucket list :) What happened? After arriving in Ibiza, I pretty quickly realized that this wasn't going to be the true "Ibiza experience" I had envisioned. Although it had seemed we were rounding the corner on the COVID-19 pandemic, the rise in cases of the Delta variant caused the implementation of new of restrictions in Spain: 1 AM curfew, capacity limits at all bars and clubs, masks indoors, etc. Because of that, we had to reserve a table if we wanted to go to any club or pool party (all sold out, unless we were willing to drop serious $$$) and dancing/mingling was heavily restricted at normal venues. I didn't want to force this just for the sake of crossing it off my list, so I've decide to leave this one open for a potential attempt again at some point in the future.
